RHODE ISLAND MINORITY BUSINESS  ENTERPRISE

PROVIDENCE, RI February, 19 2009 FERREIRA CONCRETE FORMS, INC. has because a Minority Certified Business in the state of Rhode Island.  Due to the owners Portuguese Heritage Ferreira Concrete Forms is  now listed on the Rhode Island Minority Certification List .

 QUONSET, RI RETAIL CENTER

East Providence, RI November 2008 FERREIRA CONCRETE FORMS, INC. has completed for two different general contractors THE TORREY COMPANY and INTEGRATED BUILDERS approximately 200,000 SQ. FT of retail space, in the heart of Rhode Islands Economic Development area. FERREIRA'S known for there speed has again accomplished these projects ahead of time for there customers.

NEWPORT MANSION PROJECT

East Providence, RI June 2008 FERREIRA CONCRETE FORMS, INC. has completed a helical pile project at A Mansion in Newport, RI. The project was to install Piertech Helical Piles for new construction of a Gazebo. This project was only feet from the water and soils were very compressive. Ferreira Concrete Forms, Inc. designed, tested and installed 20 2-7/8" helical pile, plus included excavation for a new foundation to support a gazebo.

NEW STOP AND SHOP, WARWICK, RI

East Providence, RI March 2008 FERREIRA CONCRETE FORMS, INC. completes Stop and Shop, Warwick, RI in record time of 12 business days. With the help of the general contractor THE TORREY COMPANY, keeping all subs ahead of FERREIRA CONCRETE FORM, INC. on there schedule FERREIRA'S was able to complete the project in a record time. Along with completing the project in record time we also were award with STOP AND SHOP SAFETY RECOGNITION AWARD.

REHOBOTH RESIDENTIAL HOME PROJECT

East Providence, RI August 2003 FERREIRA CONCRETE FORMS, INC. design, built, and completed a 2 story new home in Rehoboth, MA. This home has a walk out basement and has some intricate concrete columns and beams that had to be built into the elevated concrete floor slab. Every aspect of this project was designed and built in order to provide a energy savings. The whole home was automated, so that the house would be able to sense its temp, sense lighting and provide the home and people in it with a comfortable temp and lighted environment.

AZORES RESIDENTIAL HOME PROJECT

East Providence, RI April, 28 2002 Ferreira Concrete Forms, Inc. design, built, restored and completed a 2 story 200 year old single family residence. We decided that building this structure with Insulated Concrete Form house in San Miguel, Azores, would make use of the energy efficacy of the form, with the warm days and cold nights the form takes full advantage of that.

The house was dismantled stone by stone to preserve the history of home of more than 200 years , each stone was marked with a number and drawn on a plan for location. The entire inner structure of the home is built out of concrete and was completed with Insulated Concrete Forms. The roof was the most difficult portion of the project due to it was also concrete, and sloped.  After the structure was complete we re-assemble the house back to original state on the exterior and the interior would have now the benefit of an R-40 insulation factor due to the Insulated Concrete Forms. Today this home is one of the only residential homes in San Miguel with that type of technology.
